In 2020 the Teréga Accélérateur d'Énergies endowment fund published the first issue of Essential Lines, shining a light on people taking a stand in the South-West to tackle the COVID-19 crisis.
In this second issue, the Endowment Fund’s aim is to showcase those working in the world of gastronomy in the South-West, an industry seriously impacted from the very start of the pandemic.
This action by the Teréga Accélérateur d'Énergies endowment fund supports Teréga’s desire to highlight the positive initiatives being driven by actors in the far South West of France.
“Essential Lines” are the key lines that support our society, and which were put rudely to the test by the Covid-19 pandemic. Active and committed, restaurateurs and members of the public alike, they have stepped up to secure those lines. This publication is an opportunity to showcase the commitment of the men and women across our territories in the South-West and the initiatives they have put in place to reinvent their industry, particularly affected as it has been by the pandemic.
The ten eyewitness reports in this second volume show that, despite the crisis, the world of gastronomy has managed to reinvent itself and adapt to this period of transformation.
Essential Lines is a collective community book, published by Débats Publics. It is directed by Dominique Mockly, Chairman and General Manager of Teréga, with the support of the Teréga Accélérateur d'Énergies endowment fund. You can buy it or order it from your local bookshop.
