Teréga, making renewable, low-carbon gas the energy of the future for our territories

For some years, the energy sector has been experiencing major upheaval and having to face unprecedented challenges: combating climate change, a decarbonised energy system, creation of a European energy market, enhanced regulations, energy sovereignty, etc. We are convinced that the deployment of new gases and innovation will enable a real acceleration towards the energy mix of tomorrow.

Our ambition: to support the revolution that is needed in the energies sector

In the future, energy sources will be increasingly interconnected and linked to one another in a single integrated energy mix. As a permanent link between producers and consumers, grids are the essential tools in this energy revolution. Their flexibility enables the industry to deal with fluctuating demand. Interconnected or smart grids will thus play a central role in constructing the energy world of tomorrow, creating new synergies between heat, electricity, water, CO2 and gas.

Teréga is speeding up the transition to carbon neutrality by adapting its network to the new energy challenges and supporting the development of the new technologies needed to create the diversified, renewable, low-carbon energy mix of the future.

Every day, thanks to our expert and passionate teams, we devise new solutions for growing sectors such as biomethane, or those yet to be developed, such as hydrogen and methanation, through multi-energy networks.

The challenges we have faced in 2023 have reinforced our credo: to focus on decarbonisation, by developing new gases through innovation.

Dominique MocklyGeneral Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Teréga SA

The acceleration of climate change, geopolitical instability and the unprecedented global gas supply situation have had a significant impact on our business. Yet our fundamental convictions remain unchanged. Our course is decarbonisation, our ambition is the development of new gases, and our main lever is innovation.
