Do you want to decarbonise your industrial activities? There are a number of strategies you can use to achieve that, such as adopting energy efficiency measures, decarbonising your transport arrangements, or consuming biomethane. Discover how Teréga can support you.
The energy frugality plan introduced by the government will contribute to us reducing our total energy consumption by 10% compared to the 2019 baseline year. In the longer term, this approach will also allow us drastically to reduce our environmental footprint. Teréga offers a number of tools to help you reach those energy targets.
With Ecogaz you have a tool to help control consumption; it encourages the general public to work alongside businesses, through environmentally-friendly actions, to optimise gas consumption.
In the current context of rapidly accelerating energy frugality targets, we are developing our service offerings to best support our connected customers in controlling their consumption.
You can now view your hourly and 4-hour peak consumption data in your “My data” area on the customer portal. This view allows you to monitor your consumption and guarantee it matches your subscriptions. The portal also has a special page on the control and distribution of consumption, as well as a private API that allows you to automatically repatriate this dataset to your analysis and supervision systems.
To go further and manage your energy consumption even more accurately, we have developed the new Teréga Box service, giving you fully secure access to your consumption data in real time.
Do you own a fleet of vehicles (LV, HGV etc.)? Do you want to decarbonise your mobility? Are you unsure which fuel is best suited to a decarbonised mobility strategy?
Teréga’s mobility comparison tool helps you choose the ideal low-carbon fuel according to your needs and usage. It enables you to assess the price equivalence between the standard fuels and helps you gauge the advantages and disadvantages of the different solutions: in environmental and economic terms, and according to usage. BioNGV, a biomethane-based fuel, meets many of the criteria for virtuous mobility.
Test our comparison tool and discover more about NGV and bioNGV.
France has committed itself to being the first major industrial country in the world to end its dependence on fossil fuels. As part of that, the renewable gas sector has become a long-term component of the French energy mix, and methanisation is gaining momentum.
In 2023 there were 652 biomethane-injecting units across the French territory, representing production capacity of 12 TWh/year of low-carbon gas (+31% compared with 2022). Alongside that, pyro-gasification and hydrothermal gasification are gearing up to produce renewable methane.
To meet the target of 20% renewable gases in the national energy mix by 2030, Teréga has committed itself to supporting biomethane injection in its territory, while building backflow stations to allow the gas to transit from the distribution grid to the transport grid, in order to encourage development of the sector. As a real lever for industrial decarbonisation, Guarantees of Origin (GOs) and sustainability certificates associated with the biomethane molecule prove your commit to reducing greenhouse gases. Contractualisation by mutual consent of a BPA (Biogas Purchase Agreement) with a biomethane producer will give you access to 100% of the GOs they produce.
