The Teréga Accélérateur des Énergies endowment fund supports Water Family (from snowflake to wave). The association works to protect water, human health and all living systems through awareness‑raising, education and training on water issues and scientific ecology.
Objectifs
Since 2009, Water family has been supporting schools, businesses and local authorities in addressing water‑preservation challenges through dedicated educational programmes.

The Water Family - From snowflake to wave: Acting at the source to protect life
Recognised as being of public interest, the Water Family – Du Flocon à la Vague is an association dedicated to protecting water, human health and biodiversity. Since 2009, its core mission has been to promote a collective awareness: protecting water means protecting life. Through comprehensive educational programmes and innovative tools such as the Empreinte Citoyenne (“Citizen Footprint”), the association encourages the adoption of
responsible everyday practices.
Teréga’s endowment fund supports the “Water Responsible Educational Kit”, a project designed to raise awareness and educate school groups, the general public, businesses and elected representatives about preserving water, health and all living systems. This initiative is fully aligned with the French Ministry of Education’s priority focus on sustainable development education.
Firmly rooted in local territories, the Water Family has a national reach thanks to its regional branches organised by watershed (Adour–Garonne, Loire–Brittany, Rhône–Alpes, etc.), enabling on‑the‑ground action tailored to the realities of each ecosystem.
